The new seasons only started last week so still too early to tell for a lot of new shows. Also depends how far out of the loop you are i guess, my current fav for last season/continuing into this season is Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Tales of Zestiria: Doushi no Yoake was quite nice one shot in promotion for the upcoming game if you like the tales series. Durarara!!x2 Shou is the second season of Dura after years of waiting for it and then there's the aldnoah second season which is a fan fav that alot of people have been looking forward too.

Out of the shows not released yet i guess i'm most excited for -

-Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka?
    -Owari no Seraph
-Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
    -God Eater
    -Heavy Object
    -Himouto! Umaru-chan
    -K project second season
-Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Rachirareta Ken
    -overlord

The ones i want the most out of those being seraph/k project/dungeon ni and overlord. This season will be great with the amount of manga/ln adaptations being released. Seraph/dungeon ni and overlord all have excellent source material available and i hear Heavy object is great too, still need to get round to reading it though.

I've been really enjoying Akatsuki no Yona. It has a great balance of action and emotion with a moderate amount of humor. I've only read the first two chapters of the manga but it seemed to follow it closely. I will never shed a tear over the fact that it isn't just some constant sappy shojo romance shit.

Lets see I haven't look through the whole 2015 listing. But based on the manga of those I've read I'd expect these to be worth the watch:
    -Ansatsu Kyoshitsu
    -Sanae
    -Death Parade
    -Shomin Sample
    -Tateyuusha
    -Dungeon

Sorry if I don't type the whole name out. But yeah based on previous installation the following will have a following too:
    -Fate/Stay UbW P2
    -Aldoah Noah S2
The following are famous titles. However, I personally never seen it.
-Durarara (Never watch all of season 1, it's famous here in Japan at least from what I see and the first episode reminds me of Spice and Wolf)
    -KantaiColle
    -Dog Days

Also watch Psycho Pass the movie 2 days back. And went to eat some ramen which gave Psycho Pass Movie Collectibles. The movie was really good, albeit the atrocious English VAs, of course I watched it all in Japanese in Japan.

Out of all the shows currently airing the ones I'm enjoying the most are Jojo, Death Parade and Parasyte (especially this one). Parasyte is easily the best show of the season, even better than F/SN UBW in my opinion (which is biased since the only good route in F/SN is Heaven's Feel). I highly recommend Parasyte. I mean who can resist watching it after this:

As for Jojo it's reputation speaks for itself, the new season kicks off right after the last episode of S1 and I'm really looking forward to this second half. Hopefully we get Diamond is Unbreakable after this. Which is my second favorite Jojo arc after the second. Death Parade so far has been a pretty awesome new series and it has one of the best anime Openings I've seen in a while:

I'm also watching Aldnoah S2, which is meh considering the huge asspull they did in episode 1 to explain what happened at the end of S1. Gundam G Recongista is pretty good, for those of us who loved Turn A Gundam and Eureka 7 I recommend it. Seven Deadly Sins is another good one, though the manga is much better. Also watching Tokyo Ghoul root A, which so far is pretty damn terrible/disappointing. It's no longer an adaptation but it's own standalone thing. Dog Days 3 is another one I'm watching, it's more of a guilty pleasure. It's by no means a great show but if you like cutesy slice of life stuff it's definitely worth watching.

I also recommend Bahamut and F/SN UBW which both ended in December. F/SN is based Ufotable so that speaks for itself. But if you aren't convinced. Bahamut was a completely new series which was surprisingly good. The animation was pretty damn good and consistent:

You should give Death Parade a shot, it's similar to Death Note in terms of mind games.

I also recommend people to watch Parasyte, I have seen all episodes that have currently aired and I'm eagerly waiting for the next one. So far it is one of my favorite anime and it gets you hooked right from episode 1!

I tried to get into parasyte got about 6 episodes in but ultimately i dropped it because i just vastly preferred the manga. Its strange seeing how much has been altered though from the original, though for this series its kinda hard not to when the original was set and made in the 80s. Its strange seeing all the clothes/buildings and settings being changed.

After the first few episodes have been released now, i would say my current favourite is probably Ansatsu Kyoushitsu/durarara with death parade coming in close behind. Death parade would probably over take durarara if it wasn't for watching the first season of dura and waiting so many years for this current one to come out. On a side note i do love my dose of 3min short military! as well, its just amusing and fun to watch.

    I'm currently watching:

    Absolute Duo

    Akatsuki no Yona

    Aldnoah.Zero 2nd Season

    Death Parade

    Juuou Mujin no Fafnir

    Kantai Collection: KanColle

    Log Horizon 2nd Season

    Nanatsu no Taizai

    Shinmai Maou no Testament

    Tokyo Ghoul √A

About the new ones, so far I'd say Aldnoah is the best between them. Kancolle seems to have funny characters and the money is clearly there, animation quality is really good, not F/SN UBW levels, but still good. Shinmai Maou is funny to watch and very entertaining if you can support some fanservice, the 3 school harems (Fafnir, World Break and Absolute Duo) are all weak as fuck, although I'd suggest World Break if I had to suggest one of them.
Death Parade is different from most things I've seen, and I'm liking it, not sure if the story will have any plot devices, but for now it's a very interesting show.

Ahh Parasyte is one of the few manga i never got round to reading before watching the anime even though it came out so long ago. But yeah If I read the manga first then I would find it strange as well so I see where you are coming from.

I'm a bit behind on a lot of anime at the moment, so just trying to catch up on everything!

I saw it coming out as an anime and got curious so checked out the manga, i got addicted and read the whole thing in 3 days =S was only 64 chapters though so not as long as most of the stuff i read.

Some major differences though would be like the main girls character design -

This really threw me at first.

I ended up not liking Bahamut much as it seemed like they were trying to cram in too much stuff in too few episodes. Would have been happier had it been just Favaro and Kaizer's wacky bounty hunter adventures.

    Currently following:

Assassination Classroom - Gives me GTO vibes.

Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! - to tide me over until Mahou Shoujo Ore gets an adaptation and, to quote someone I know from another forum,
this what happens when you put Honey from Ouran in charge of a team of magical boys that includes Tadakuni and Hidenori from Nichibros (same director!). Their mascot is an old man wombat who strongarms them into fighting and possesses their teacher (by being carried around underarm) while being in deep fear of the Hunny character's intense love of wombat cuddling. The bad guys are the most Utena looking motherfuckers ever, but also have their own stupid club and mascot.
Death Parade - hoping that it doesn't devolve into the formula of one episode about the current game, then one episode about the analysis of the characters. Also, definitely the best OP this season.

    Durarara!! x2 - I like Narita's works.

Garo - My biggest complaint about the last season was that I wasn't aware this was a 2cour show, so thought it ended on a bad note.

Kami-sama Kiss - Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun has kind of made me a sucker for shoujo stuff.

    Koufuku Graffiti - food porn.

Maria the Virgin Witch - The flaming gay guy in the second episode sold this show for me.

Rolling Girls - gives me Trigger vibes. Hoping that the more normal main characters can carry the show now that the introduction is done.

Saekano - rooting for the bland girl.

Seiken Tsukai no World Break - chuuni B-rated bad show that I feel obligated to watch.

Shinmai Maou no Testament - kind of like the above, but not nearly as bad.

Shirobako - Hoping that Zuka gets on of the 3rd Aerial Girl's Squadron VA spots by having one of the current VAs getting sick and having to drop out.

Yatterman Night - This is the show I'm hoping ends up being the AotS. Never saw the original Yatterman and related series but I'm liking the contrast between those and the current show.

Your Lie in April - A more relationship heavy Nodame.

Yuri Kuma Arashi - SHOCK....KUMA SHOCK

80s doe. I'm not saying it couldn't have worked, but I imagine they'd rather stick to animation they know is popular than gamble on retro.

Also, isn't Parasyte one of those manga that got mirrored in its licensed translation?

I was going to ask this too. Anything looking like it could be a new Death Note/Code Geass yet?
Also, where do you guys look for new upcoming anime?

Would also be interested in some action anime with supernatural abilities, like Darker than Black.
Or some psychological anime, like Mirai Nikki or Steins Gate.

As for the next code geass/death note, who knows, best bet is to read the synopses and take a guess.

So far I've only watched Tokyo Ghoul, I liked the first episode, 2nd was OK. His decision at the end of ep 1 definitely caught me by surprise. Never seen an anime character change so much from S1 to S2. I like the change.

All the others that came out seem pretty meh to me. After watching Unlimited Bladeworks, every anime since then seems like trash to me. I have been spoiled.

Rolling girls is definitely interesting, i wasn't sure what to think about it after the first episode, but the second was pretty great. Yuri kuma is another I am enjoying a lot, although i have no idea what's going on half the time.
