When to use Chainheal effetively?

Hi guys, so im 7/7 in HC Content and im satisfied with my HPS in our raids. But im kinda new to healing with shaman and dont know when the best time is, to use chainheal. Should I use riptides before for the High Tide, or when does it get highest priority? When do you switch between single heals and chain heal and on wich fights? Hope you can give me some help

When you are at +155k mana

When the fight will last a shorter amount of time than the time it will take for you to go oom from constant chain heal spam.

Whenever a riptide target is low (60-70% maybe) and you have other targets nearby

6 low targets and riptides rolling.
