[MOVIES] Your top 3 movies of all time

    Yo,

Couple buddies and I were having some drinks the other day and the topic came up... what is your #1 movie of all time?

To spice things up a bit, let's do your top 3 movies.

Mine: Terminator 2, Crank (yes, I fucking love this movie) and Goodfellas or 007: Casino Royale... toss up between those 2 for #3.

  2. #2
    Godfather 2

For me it is The Prestige or End of Evangelion. The latter requires you to watch the 26 episode animated series Neon Genesis Evangelion, whereas the former is a standalone work watchable at any time. Both are true pieces of art and should be regarded as such for centuries to come.

    As you said top three

1: Oldboy The wrongest film of all time, but just SOO good.

2: Pulp Fiction One of the finest scripts ever written, brilliant performances all round a KILLER soundtrack and a brilliant if insane story.

3: Where the Wild Things Are One of the most stunningly beautiful movies of all time. Spike Jonze is a master of his art and little Max Records is stupendous as Max. Features some outstanding voice work from the late great James Gandolfini amongst others.

Honorable mentions to: In Bruges and The Matrix.

Going to go with the Daddy of all Maverick Cop movies.

Not only is it one of the best "bad ass cop" movies, but the bad guy in it is fantastically acted, almost as good as heath ledgers Joker.

Matrix, if I had to choose only one. For more would throw in V for Vendetta and On the Beach(2000).

They were pretty damn good, not going to lie... But Hye-jeong Kang's are pretty damn nice too, and the film is just much much better .
