Finally took him down yesterday

Zen med helps a ton. It will be more than one tick of breath until the first hit comes. A bit of RNG there, atleast it feels like it.

I successfully removed 78% of my stagger which did a TON of difference from when I was only doing 60% (Thank you serenity)
