I had ring proc, synergy proc, dark soul, and int pot all up, plus about 20 stacks of burning infusion from the flamethrowers.

Maximize your stacks/heat by turning it off when you are moving between patches.
On -> spin to get 2-3 adjacent patches -> off -> move to next area.
Makes it pretty easy to maintain 20-30 stacks throughout the second half of the encounter.
