specialisations are supposed to tie to weapons which were previously unusable by classes, and rifle is the safest bet for thieves. I think either thief will get some sort of sniper specialisation, maybe ranger too, hopefully it will be petless.

Stronghold seem like hybrid GvG, so that there is option for everyone who aren't in competitive guilds to play it while guilds that are competitive will have own leader board.

Sounds exciting. Wonder why they don't just remove "levels" altogether - I love the idea of not needing to replace your stuff all over again. The masteries as a gating method sounds much more appealing.

I haven't really payed much attention to GW2 for a while but color me impressed! The profession masteries sound awesome and the new content looks amazing! I'm also pleased with the no level cap rise, I think that works well for a game like GW2 where there's a lot of horizontal progression anyway. I'm very tempted to get back into the game!

I haven't placed since launch (reached level 80 on my warrior) but this has me interested again. I quit due to no rl friends playing, maybe I can get them onboard for this.

I'm going to install the game regardless and see the new stuff since launch, I have absolutely no idea how the game works anymore so I might reroll from level 1 and learn from scratch.

I'll hold my thumbs for guardian longbow, that could be working similar to necromancer staff marks, but instead you shoot to place symbols and wards on the ground.

With MegaServers and cross-server guilds, you don't have to stay that way.
