Buying a new Laptop

Hey! I have an £800-900 budget and am looking for the best laptop for gaming and general use that I can buy for that amount. I know I could buy/build a good computer for that much but I definitely prefer laptops, and I'm only gonna use it for WoW so I figure a laptop will do.

I'm a technical potato so I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for.. any help/advice would be appreciated!

What is it you have against Windows 8? Now that they added the desktop feature, or with apps, you can make it function just like 7 plus it uses less memory and generally runs things better.

If you can stretch the budget, I found this:

I'm not too familiar with laptops though, someone else may be able to find something better.

It's entirely possible that my view on windows 8 is outdated - I don't really follow developments on it too much, but if it has a desktop like 7 does then I guess it's not too bad

That first one you linked looks very nice indeed and I'm considering it, just curious to see what else is out there. Any other suggestions from anyone?
