At 4/4 upgrades, Stone of Fire is simming to be a dps loss over all of the heroic BRF trinkets and both of the mythic HM trinkets.

Sparkuggz posted a good comparison to all of the trinkets on his website the other day. Good for general reference. Can't post links, but a quick google search brings you there.

The versatility on it makes it inferior to the other raid drop trinkets near that ilevel. IIRC Blizzard made this change in fear that the 640 version updated to 680 would become over budgeted.
