All I remember? In the one, do or die, win or lose throw in a super bowl? Is him throwing an interception to the same team that Eli beat twice in that same situation!

How much did the "72% completion ratio" matter in the seattle/broncos game? That was a complete and utter blowout. Any qb can have good stats in a blowout...not a single one of those completions mattered, period.

Ok, Seattle's team ran for shit, Eli's team over 100 yards. I never said Seattle's defense sucked. I'm asking you why the Giants' defense is completely irrelevant to their success and you're pinning Eli's hall of fame votes on literally two passes. He had a run game too.

You also said Wilson doesn't get in because time will tell. But he's already been in two Super Bowls and won one. Eli's regular season stats are average at best, so why does Wilson have to prove himself more if Eli blows in the regular season and gets an automatic bid?

Regardless, it seems your first argument against Wilson is the defense he plays with. However Eli also had really good defenses both years he won the super bowl. Since then, not so much.

Personally I don't like the Giants nor Eli after what happened in his draft. I don't think Eli is a first ballot HoF as is. Maybe later on after an off year. He's been pretty fucking shitty in the past few years.
