we will have to see how his career goes obviously.
If you are trying to equate him to eli, with his super bowl win (Only by defense, period) and nothing to do with him...and his super bowl loss to the very team that Eli has beaten twice, its kind of silly.
Seattle could have had ME as a qb in that game and won. Did you see how much the defense and special teams scored? It was more then the indy offense!
You're a towel.
Why do you guys always insist in bringing up that superbowl and Eli? I have feelings too you know.
While we are on painful subjects: What's the difference between Hillary Clinton and the Seahawks?
Hillary decided to run.
(Sorry Seahawks fans. I blame Gumboy for triggering me and making me lash out. )
Lol poor seahawks fans :P
But seriously; how many times did wilson have to make a throw to save his team in that superbowl? Zero? Weird!
How many times has eli had to evade a pass rush and make a throw to save his team in a super bowl win? Twice?
You're a towel.
Did you miss the part where Eli turned the ball over ON HIS OWN three times in one of those games, and the defense held the Pats to under 100 rush yards each time, and 17 points or less each time? Or Russell Wilson's 72% completion in his win, where HIS team had below 100 yards rushing?
Perfect throw, perfect time....
Everyone forgets this because of the helmet catch..still needed to score after that though guys.

Excuse me? How many points did seattles special teams and defense score? How many times did Wilson HAVE to make a throw? Literally zero times? Interesting!

I'm sorry but you can't come in here with some revisionist history shit and claim wilson HAD to make a single throw in their super bowl win.
You're a towel.
Please, tell me; how many throws did wilson have to make in order to win the super bowl?
Since you are the one who asked me about him.
All I remember? In the one, do or die, win or lose throw in a super bowl? Is him throwing an interception to the same team that Eli beat twice in that same situation!
How much did the "72% completion ratio" matter in the seattle/broncos game? That was a complete and utter blowout. Any qb can have good stats in a blowout...not a single one of those completions mattered, period.
And you blame all qb fumbles on just the qb? Nah, its not the fault of the line at all for letting them through, right? Or is that a special stipulation you have just for Eli?

Am I the only one that remembers that? Whether you think they should run or throw (Obviously should have been a run regardless of the hindsight), they chose to throw; and in that situation, what happened?
When, in the same do or die situation that happened to eli, what was the result, over two times? (Everyone just remembers the helmet catch instead of the other ones for some reason...)
You're a towel.
You are the one that brought up wilson and the HOF; not me. Are you saying the seattle defense was not stout? Rofl.
Who made the game winning throws in those super bowl games, against the best team of the last two decades? But we can't give him credit...its a manning, and we hate them!
You're a towel.
Ok, Seattle's team ran for shit, Eli's team over 100 yards. I never said Seattle's defense sucked. I'm asking you why the Giants' defense is completely irrelevant to their success and you're pinning Eli's hall of fame votes on literally two passes. He had a run game too.
You also said Wilson doesn't get in because time will tell. But he's already been in two Super Bowls and won one. Eli's regular season stats are average at best, so why does Wilson have to prove himself more if Eli blows in the regular season and gets an automatic bid?
I never said anything about "Two passes" Those "Two passes" everyone references ignores the other ones, that actually scored.
"hes been in two super bowls" does not mean he "won two" with transcendant, legendary passes that toppled the best team of the last 20 years.
As a matter of fact? He lost to that same team. Just years later, when they were even older.
I never took credit away from the giants defense. I specified team several times. That is your imagination.
"He doesen't get in" because wilson does not have a hall of fame career (So far, only time will tell) Eli does. Period. He will be in. No matter how many revisionist history haters their are.
You're a towel.
I just went back and read the last page. You never mentioned the Giants' defense once, but you talked about the "throws" over and over again.
And then you said that Wilson does not have a hall of fame career, but completely ignore the fact that Eli's career has been mediocre at best minus a handful of throws, by your own admission.
If you want to debate a player's potential to be a hall of famer, fine, but don't ignore 99% of his career.
mentioning "team" includes defense, not just the offense. And I am 100% certain I mentioned team.
However, I did specify the throws. Why? Because despite the good defense, the throws were still needed to win the game.
Wilson however did *NOT* Make any big throws to win a super bowl ring. I didn't bring him up because frankly I don't think its relevant, I was responding to you...
Do you think Wilson made any big throws to win his super bowl ring?
You're a towel.
Maybe. But if the answer is "no", why does that make him worse than Eli? And why does the other hundreds of games not matter to the one other?
How about Big Ben as a hall of famer?

Actually, what about Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Fran Tarkenton, and Boomer Esiason?
Oh, and no, you never once gave any credit to the team, just Eli.

Cowboys tweet the possibility of drafting TJ Yeldon. I can live with that.
I am scared of Alabama RBs that run crappy combine 40s but then say they managed 4.4 at the pro day.
If we're rating QB's on one off passes then Tebow's OT TD pass must put him up as one of the greatest of the modern era.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.
Regardless, it seems your first argument against Wilson is the defense he plays with. However Eli also had really good defenses both years he won the super bowl. Since then, not so much.
Personally I don't like the Giants nor Eli after what happened in his draft. I don't think Eli is a first ballot HoF as is. Maybe later on after an off year. He's been pretty fucking shitty in the past few years.
