There are so many amazing april 1st events on guild wars 1 and 2, anet does it so well with their april's fool events!
Cod has a new campaign, new weapons, new multiplayer levels every year. Zelda has been recycling the same weapons, villains, and dungeons since the 80's. Zelda recycles enough to make cod blush. The same weapons, villains, dungeons, and princess in every single Zelda for the most part. It's almost as cheesy as bowser vs Mario round 35

Then it just plain headache that you can't turn off.Garrison Mission Manager: Select best followers for BfA, Legion and WoD missions.
Instance Spec: Switch to spec suitable for your role when "dungeon ready" pops up.
LDB: WoW Token: Monitor WoW Token price changes in LDB display.
Other addons: Quest Map with Details * LFG Filter for Premade Groups * Obvious Mail Expiration.

The commando unit and mission April in GW1 was a classic as well. You had SWAT team members with machine gun and stuff fightin fantasy enemies
