Friends Wanted! SWTOR

Hi,
I have been playing SWTOR for a while now. Really enjoying it! Planning on buying a subscription next month, but what's really missing from my SWTOR experience is friends. I have not been able to make friend on SWTOR. I do not know why? I am hoping that this forum site will be able to help me some.
