Literally did every quest in the game I could find before finishing story, finished the game at 73 and final boss was 75. Just don't use bonus xp if you don't want to over level oh and then you also finish the game with enough bonus xp to hit 99 almost right off the bat for post game shenanigans.

I got at lvl 71 at final boss (kinda gave up on trying to trigger some sidequests).

At early game the overlvl creep is pretty bad, but later at sea area it balances a bit. Mostly because fighting water monsters is a chore.

Also, i gota point this huge fucking spoiler .... i say HUGE....if you click it, your fault:
Mio is Nias (and Rex) daughter 100% when you see a picture of a baby with cat ears and white hair. And Rex did have a harem since he ended up with 3 kids. Noah is offspring of a Shulk probaly since human. Also of all the characters from 1 and 2 only Melia, Nia and Poppi are only alive left. I also have a theory that souls or bouth nations are able to be re-born on other dimension of same planet, wich would explain why Riku looks like Rex.

Anyway a thing that bothers me is that i went way over Amazing lvl and there not more that than (possible with a Mio as tank and her friend hero).

Only if you specifically go out of your way to do quests that are above your current level instead of doing them and the main story in order of your level. The game plays out pretty much perfect level wise if you do this and don't use bonus xp.

Anyways I do see Zelda cycle is in full effect and see people claiming XC2 is a much better and finished game and I'm literally laughing my ass off at these kids that probably never knew what a xeno game was before they played 2. 3 is the most complete game Takahashi has made, side content, world building, main story it's all there and nothing is neglected. XC1 had absolute shit side content locked behind shit fetch quests but a great main story, XCX had great side content and world building and very little main story, XC2 was a rushed mess with all kinds of out sourced art clashing with each other and a shitty field skill system combined with gacha to lock what is basically meh side content. Xenosaga and Xenogears where just unfinished to begin with so I don't want to even get into that. XC3 is the complete game with little compromise that he finally got to do, in fact the only compromise is likely that it was a Switch game and limited by the hardware.

Had to check some shit before reply but..

One of the female original Ouroboros was trained by Shulk and chose to put him on the statue in her place it would be really weird for this to not be his kid and for the Noah equiv to be his kid don't you think? Since Noah has a statue there also... In fact I think claiming Noah or Mio is descendants of the casts to be thinking at it way too simple to begin with. Why the fuck would Nia's kid have her flesh eater core crystal? There is no lore established for this. It's like Noah/Mio are just Shulk/Nia equivalents the world itself created like it created Zed since their entire purpose was fighting against Zed, and they still got reincarnated even after turned mobius which didn't happen for anyone else.

This is beyond the point I'm pretty sure Nia would have a much stronger reaction if her actual child had been reincarnated and killed over and over again before finally finding her lmfao. This theory is surface level shit it's not real. Noah and Mio are hope, what are the 2 biggest symbols of hope from the first 2 games? The monado and nia's healing once she revealed she was a flesh eater. Noah has a monado looking sword and Mio has a flesheater core crystal. They are the world's will created hope, not descendants of anyone.

Riku has nothing to do with Rex and I'm not sure why you think so lol. Melia gives him a wink and acknowledges him for a reason. Riku's entire purpose was to protect Lucky 7 and give it to Noah. Before that his masterpon's entire purpose was to protect Lucky 7 and he probably also gave it to a Noah. This is why Melia acknowledged him he is from a line who's entire purpose is to make sure Noah always gets Lucky 7 to make sure the plan would eventually work. Why in the world do you think 1) melia knows who rex is 2) rex became a nopon and 3)Rex would be on the Keves side lmao

What do you mean by dont use bonus xp? Im unfamiliar with how experience works in these games. Can you not accept experience or something?

After every battle, you get direct XP and some gets sent to a bonus xp reserve you can use at camps (think of it like in Pokemon Gold, where you could send somse money to your mom to use for later). Not using the bonus xp can mean you don't overlevel if you do a lot of side content, since if you overlevel, you cannot earn new classes on characters that didn't initially got the class when earning it

I used bonus XP for a few levels at the beginning of the game, but haven't used it since. I checked and I could currently go from level 50 to level 63 with Bonus XP, but that would massively overlevel me. The only time my level has ever been a problem was for a few side quests, but I just came back to them a little later.

Bonus exp is an optional catch-up mechanic for people less inclined to do all of the side content in a game like this.

People going out of their way to do most of the side content ending up over-levelled only have themselves to blame if they're also making use of a feature intended to keep people with a more minimalist path through up to speed.

Ghondor is the worst hero in terms of story/personality. I fucking hate everything about them.

Even worse, Sena’s quest is 100% about them rather than about her story. Fuck, that quest was god awful

Oh god... definitely.
I liked pretty much all characters except that one... when swearing is you whole personality... it's not going to end up well.
One of the instances wherei wonder i in japanese it's completely different and maybe even likable. Probably also part of why that section is just the weakest in the entire game. Hard to get into something for a character you never met and is just always an asshole to everyone.
Characters being dicks can works, see Dr Cox from Scrubs, but those need time for the viewer to see there's more to them.

At least I’m done with both of their quests so I never have to use that hero again. Ashera is better anyway. The chain attack bonus they get is fantastic.

Shulk and Rex did not found the city. Their statues there where put by students trained by them, they where not part of the original founders and where presumably dead by that point. They could show up in a epilogue for sure since Origin will return the worlds to their state before merger but yea definitely not in a founder dlc.

Anyways 99% sure DLC won't involve founders anyways and will be a sequel(possibly not even that connected to the base game at all) since Takahashi said to look for it to show where the future of the franchise gos after specifically saying XC3 ended the Klaus story arc.

I dont think this is a main evil team tho. More like a rival school.

Evil teams jumped the shark in gen 4 when Cyrus wanted to unmake the universe.

You can't escalate from that. The least they can do afte that is to make them interesting characters. Plasma succeeded, Flare failed, Skull succeede and Yell failed. Star atleast seems to have killer boss desing if Mela is the norm and not execption.
