It's not unlikely, the cuphead developers have literally said their contract NEVER allows them to port the first game to anything but Xbox or PC.

As a Ys VIII fan, I find it interesting when others compare it to XC2. It always ends with the OP spending ~~90% of the time explaining about how Ys VIII is awesome .. the rest of the post just saying they are similar yet different, or different, yet similar. Just a funny I notice.



Nobody can tell you how to spend your hard earned money. However, I feel if you liked XC2, you'll really like Ys VIII. IMO. It's like driving a clunker vs driving a luxury sedan. (sorry XC2.)

Thanks for the suggestion! I think I'm going to check it out! Like I said, I like XC2 but I also don't have a lot of JRPG experience. I thought XC2 was a lot of fun so I'm hoping to check out more JRPG!

as someone who loves the XC series, i have to agree with most people here in saying that XC2 is a great game, but not a masterpiece.
it got way way way better after the patch cycle and with the torna expansion, but i would still rank it below the first one.

after some people mentioned Ys VIII, i looked into it and it seems right up my alley. looking forward to the switch version.

Red Lantern actully looks like a really enjoyable adventure experience. Hopefully the story is better and the length longer than Firewatch

I was not expecting a Blaster Master announcement. Pretty excited for that one. There were a few games announced that I’ll probably pick up.

No we don't know anything because its all been rumors. Hell there is rumors about Sony getting into handhelds again but that isn't going to happen.

Until Nintendo themselves says something then take it all with a grain of salt.

Yeah, I watched this one unfold earlier and it was fun (like all Nintendo rumors tend to be) and I most definitely believe it. Nintendo always does revisions (for the better or worse) anyway.

The guys around here are no fun when it comes to this stuff so just ignore them IMO.

I'll definitely be getting the improved "pro" Switch if its true.

It's an ongoing rumor gag.

There is no way Nintendo is going to shunt their 2019 sales and tell folks to wait 'til later to buy their system.

This is their prime-time in the game market since the Wii. If a Switch+ is coming up the ladder, it's a secret.

..and it apparently will have little effect on Yoshi, MarioM2, Animal Crossing, Zelda or any other games scheduled to come out this year (+20 other awesome titles [ie not crap]).

If you want my honest opinion I thought it was the worst game they showed in the nindies presentation... World is lifeless, none of the animations make sense or look like they have any weight to them. It looks like some janky ass shit tier game to be completely honest lol. In other words it's a lesson on why you shouldn't try to make an "open world" game on a teeny tiny budget.
