    I only ever care about the specific mechanics of gameplay in any game. Any marketing that does not talk about the mechanisms of play is utterly useless to me and ignored almost totally.

    If you are not talking to me about the operation of a video game you may as well not be speaking at all.

    Unless you're marketing a product that is completely new/original/whateverhipsterword or has a feature that fits those words, you're going to see the same thing with anything.

    I don't get the problem.
