If they kept the Human Torch white and made it where he was not related to Sue Storm and they were dating, people would complain.

If they got rid of the Human Torch and made it the Terrific Trio, people would complain.

If they made the Invisible Woman the Invisible Dude, people would complain.

If they changed their logo from a "4" to the word "four", people would complain.

If they changed their costume color to green, people would complain.

If they replaced the Human Torch with Iceman, people would complain.

If they replaced the Human Torch with Iceman and made Iceman black, people would complain and others would scream racist.


I have no problem with black superheroes and some of my favorite heroes are non-cauasian but to change a superheroes race, gender, or sexual preference just because you are too lazy to do the work to develop new characters is just wrong.
The people you should be getting pissed at is the comicbook and movie companies for just being lazy. The Black Panther is an amazing hero to push for diversity, if that is what the want, but I have yet to see him in an Avenger film or other film. Do a Blade remake. Wolverine has a trio of stand alone films, do a Storm or Bishop. Do a team up of War Machine and Falcon. Just don't change what is cannon for a story just so you can work something into your movie for the sake of appearing progressive.

I wouldn't mind seeing them do something more with Lady Sif. I was happy to see them focus on her in 2 episodes of Agents of Shield. I think they could do an origin movie or something with her.

The cast was not why this movie was awful. The writing and the overall plot was abysmal at best. The four best actors in the world could not have made a good movie with the shitty script this movie had.

There have been a few other 00# agents in the movies. The 00's were the best/top agents. Sean Bean in GoldenEye was 006 until he 'died' at the start of the movie.
