some leaks are turning points for me to actually buy and play BD
before the leaks I didn't really care about this remakes

There are games that don't convince me to pre-order, but I was referring specifically to pokemon. I have pre-ordered all games since Gen VI.

There is this too. It is a pokemon release just before holidays. Stores will have copies and eshop is always an option.

exp share on by default and couldnt find to turn it off and I dont get how the exp is shared.
active mon at lvl 8 gets 42 xp, party mon1 @9 gets 17xp, mon2 @4 gets 34 xp and mon3 @3 gets 40xp

Having two different versions was good back in the 90s and the 2000s when the internet hadn't become ubiquitous yet, so using artificial scarcity to drive people to trade and talk did get that social interaction going. But once they allowed online trading there was no reason to trade with other people in person anymore, and with the rise of social media you can now talk with other Pokemon fans online. Just call the next Pokemon game "Pokemon 10" or something.

Game Freak should also stop plastering legendaries on the box art. Does anyone really care about the mascot legendaries? You only acquire them towards the end of your playthrough anyway, and by that point people have found other Pokemon to become attached to.

Atleast ICLA managed to do something Game Freak will never achieve.
Optimize the code. No need to compile two ROMs when one is enough.

on a sidenote there will be a day one patch which could bring platinum content but knowing pokemon for more than 20 years by now...

Given that Diamond information was on the Pearl cartridges in the originals as well ... I am not surprised.
The only difference is that there is a programmed switch in the code to switch between the two.

According to Leaks, the only shiny locks known are the Gift Mew for Let's Go data and the Gift Jirachi for SwSh data.

one of the reason why firered is most of the time the base rom for all hacks (it has the better code iirc, don't qoute me on this one)

you can get every shiny except mew and jirachi (which you get if you have a sw/sh and LGE/LGP savefile)

The files for Diamond are on pearl's cartridges and vice versa in the original.

The only difference is that this is a simple switch as opposed to the files just being there.

Why did ILCA think Cynthia needed to be buffed? I was overlevel for everyone of the Elite 4 until Lucian (on par) and then on Par with Cynthia with max level being 66 after using Rare Candies ... her Garchomp swept my team and I have ice and dragon moves.

I didn't think they would give items and sets like they did before you even beat the game the first time.

and their rematches are even crazier (Cynthias Garchomp goes to lvl 88 with 510 EVs)
you basically need an exact game plan against her, likely involving setting up/buffing a sweeper of your own to outspeed and one-shot her Garchomp, or some other cheese .. or X items

But Cynthia was always the hardest/strongest champion, so this is fine to hammer that fact home

Well, this basically proves Cynthia is the hardest champion and people can stop thinking Leon is even close. It makes no sense that people think Leon is hard, honestly he is on par with Diantha for me.

It is just Leon fanboys don't seem to understand how easy he is. Honestly, of the Champions, he is arguably the easiest nontype specialist Champion and most Pokemon of his share weaknesses or have 4x weaknesses to exploit.
