    I definitely remember that lol

That is actually cheap for a decent purpose built bike. The downhill mountain bikes are easily 3k. Full suspension mountain bikes are 1500+, high quality road bikes are probably more expensive than mtb or downhill mtb.
A "decent" ak-47 is $1000, a "decent" ar-15 is $1000, a decent gaming pc is $800+ easily. Things are expensive lol.

    Its not.
good point, I have never really been into biking. The last bike I had was back in highschool and it was a huffy from walmart

Also, I think as time goes on, things get more expensive. A brand new house in 1980 is way less than a brand new house in 2021, but at the same time we also make more money now. I remember high end mountain bikes in the 2000's were like $1200, now a high end bike is over $2k easily.

That's awesome! I never win raffles, let alone a bike! Bet you were super happy.

I pick up the bike in 45 minutes. That’s 4638593976 milliminutes in metric time.

I would trust you, except for most metric things follow a 10-to-1 ratio....

    Otherwise fair

The new bike is the most amazing thing I’ve ever ridden. Just incredible. It’s so light, yet stiff and in control on my ride. Even flying into a 13mph headwind felt like nothing.
