Also, I think as time goes on, things get more expensive. A brand new house in 1980 is way less than a brand new house in 2021, but at the same time we also make more money now. I remember high end mountain bikes in the 2000's were like $1200, now a high end bike is over $2k easily.

Tech is beautiful
The new bike is the most amazing thing I’ve ever ridden. Just incredible. It’s so light, yet stiff and in control on my ride. Even flying into a 13mph headwind felt like nothing.
