It's a "mud run". Running through a course of mud, hills, trails, and obstacles. There are different courses with different distances and increasing number of obstacles the longer the course. Tough Mudder is another really popular mud run, which is the one I normally go to. The last Tough Mudder I went to was 10k (6 miles) and 20 obstacles. Tons of fun! Originally Posted by Zalatoby

Spartan Race / Tough Mudder have different course lengths. 5k, 10k, 15k, the longer the course the more obstacles you have. You can do them solo or as a group. You can also do a timed race which is only available as a 15k.

At one point in the video they get rained on, which was actually not too long after I had finished the course.
