Fun thing: when I was watching the original Hellsing series, the subber I was initially watching dropped the series halfway through. The new subber wrote practically a rant about how his name wasn't Alucard, it was Arkard, the first time his name came up after he'd taken over. Originally Posted by Black Pearl
His name, of course, is Alucard, or Dracula backwards, though technically, because of the nature of the Japanese language, it's Arukarido, with the i and o being unstressed.

Ultimate is also closer to the manga, apparently. The original series just kinda...ends. There's really no closure to 2/3 of the plot points. Originally Posted by Black Pearl
