And then the thread dies.
It's time to re-explore Moira Asylum. In Thief: TDS and Thi4f, those asylum areas are the most frightening game levels ever designed.

I don't want to be become a Thief, I will gets in troubles.
It's a steampunk series. I'm surprised you've never heard of it. Thief: The Dark Project was a revolution in gaming when it came out in the late 90's. It set records and inspired the entire concept of stealth gameplay.
Thief: TDP (the first game) features you, Garrett, a master sneak thief of the City (that's its actual name) who has broken away from the Keeper order to pursue his own ends, when he finds himself drawn into a battle with the Trickster, the god of the Pagans, while being supported by (sort of), the Keepers and the Hammerites.
Thief 2: The Metal Age takes place a few years later when a splinter group of the Hammerites, the Mechanists, modernize the City and the City Watch for their own ends, including the destruction of all organic life.
Thief 3: Deadly Shadows is the final game in the original series, and features the end of the glyphs, glyph magic, and the Keepers when you activate the Final Glyph.
Thief 4 is a 'reboot' that takes place 600 years later with a new Garrett, Basso, and others in the City, when the primal force of the glyph magic has returned, causing a deadly disease that is rotting away everything and everyone.
They're all fantastic games, long and involved with a very non-linear aspect to the levels themselves (but not the storyline). You're free to complete each mission as you see fit within the difficulty rules (I always played the first 3 on expert, which forbids killing any living person) and finish optional objectives.
