Wonder Egg Priority -- wtf did i just watch? --- but yeah that is horror of some weird type
Couple more anime, hopefully the last of the new season at this rate....
Idoly Pride - Obviously, an idol anime. Not something I watch super often, but this can be the season's exception. It was presented and directed quite nicely. Had something everyone should see coming from the start, but there is also something that I think nobody would expect of an idol series. Think I'll actually stick with this.
Wonder Egg Priority - Definitely one of my favourite opening episodes of the season. It looks beautiful, sounds fantastic, and had a premise that absolutely intrigued me by the end. The characters are well designed and I look forward to seeing how the story evolves over the weeks. 100% something I'll look forward to each week, for now.
Redo of Healer -- what is the point of puting a warning at start of ep if you end up cenzoring it....
Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table -- database database just living in database
The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement -- they put more animation at the end of ep than whole episode...
Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table -- Contrary to what I thought would happen (from hearing the name of the arc years ago), it seems this destruction is coming from the inside as Eins doesn't have any confidence of getting his way through Akiba's current governing system. He seems to favor a socialist approach, while others do not seem to interested in that. Looking forward to new episodes.
At long last, Knights of Sidonia S3 is coming... as a movie, not a season. Whatever. It's been 5 years since it was announced. I had given up hope, but it's coming!
Hell yeah, I thought that series was canned. Nice!
The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter ep 2 --- man this show is almost hentai :P
Spider Isekai episode 2
Welp, Fei has just become character of the season for me. I think I said this before in regards to Ayame from Fruits Basket, but it's just really relatable to me. You were a teenager. You thought your were being so cool, so witty... and then, years later, you come to realize what an asshole you were, wishing you could go back and time and do things differently, and you wish you never do that again. Really hope Fei gets a chance to reconcile with spider girl. Really hope Fei gets more screentime.
I keep shouting at Spider MC to cling to the walls. That's your greatest advantage! Also, get out of that cave!

Got a weird request.
I'm looking to start an anime blu-ray collection, and I'm trying to be really efficient with my money. I'm looking for good modern series, but the catch is that the Blu-ray should be quite a bit better than the version online. Whether it is due to the censorship of violence and/or nudity, or a big increase in quality, if I start buying these seasons I want it to be a worthy investment over streaming the online versions, which are almost always the original Japanese broadcast. I'm just really tired of seeing blacked-out screens whenever someone gets an arm chopped off.
Dearest Senchou got a million subs too.

It all depends on what specific shows you want. Each company licenses certain shows, and it's up to them to decide what to sell them for. Aniplex will a sell a single cour for a trillion dollars and people still buy it. Sentai Filmworks is the best company to get good prices. They often have sales that will drop prices of a large portion of their licenses, sometimes to insanely cheap levels. I got No Game No Life for like eight bucks, and recently got Mitsuboshi Colors for the same. Funimation BD's run about 40-50 bucks per cour. Which is much better than Aniplex, but they very rarely have sales on anything. They do put out "Essentials", which are kinda like Game of the Year editions for games, and those are cheaper. Your best bet is to go to Rightstuf.com and keep an eye on their sales, since they sell from every different licensor. Of course, if you get Limited Editions, you're gonna have a whole different kind of prices. And if you want a show licensed by Crunchyroll or Netflix, then you're just straight fucked. They never release physical copies for whatever reason. Quality-wise, you're always going to get the most uncut version on home releases. Funimation tends to stream their home version as the physical copy releases too. I have no idea what you mean by "blacked-out screens whenever someone gets an arm chopped off" though. that's not levels of censorship that happen anymore.
I mean, it happened a lot in JoJo and Tokyo Ghoul, which kind of inspired me to skip certain shows until the physical release. I don't wanna get invested in a censored or edited version of an epic story. I guess I'm more interested in shows where the either the streaming platform or the broadcast release censored the show. That and I know sometimes home releases touch-up the animation to some extent. Just interested in anything where buying the home release is a worthy investment over just streaming the show online, quality wise. Not about to buy stuff up in bulk, or hunt for sales. I just want my purchases to mean something.
