Yeah I was actually searching myself lol Steins;Gate was for me, though. I stopped Love Live about 6 episodes in and binged Steins;Gate. I think I had her watch Shigatsu in exchange for me watching Love Live, and Shinsekai Yori for me watching Steins;Gate.

edit: Actually, I had her watch K-On! season 1 in exchange for Love Live, since she had never seen it. How is she even actually Japanese, having never seen K-On!?

End up watching beyond S1? I feel the series does well when you watch beyond S1 as S2 gives each char pretty much an ep to themselves (besides the 2nd years I believe)

I plan on it. I enjoyed season 1 a lot. Just gotta find the mood for it. I'm only really keeping up with a few shows from this season, S&W for the rewatch, Clannad because fucking finally, and reading a bit here and there. I'll probably jump on it after Clannad/AS (if I binge them together, but idk as Clannad is kinda boring so it's hard to keep going).

Been reading the SSY watch/rewatch threads on reddit, the reactions of the first-timers is so great. I'm glad to see so many people reacted positively to the Shinsekai Yaoi from episode 8. Makes me want to rewatch it yet again.
