Yeah it's definitely a good starting list but a lot of them are things that people would already know to check out. We should probably add some "if you like this, try x, y, and z " lists. Maybe do some suggestions by genre, and a list of "you probably have the wrong idea about this show, but here's why you should watch it." I'd like to add some manga suggestions too.

I could run another survey and see if Tsunhog would update but I've got little time to sit at my computer between work and baby.

edgehog is ded. pen and joe seem to be the mods now but no idea what forums they are over. than there's the couple mods that throw autistic shitfits every now and then for some reason.

I read this and thought about this imgur link I saw, though I don't necessarily agree with all the choices (I'm also newbier to anime though). Guess I got slice of life/comedy on lock.

from the comparison I found it seems they show way more elf pantsu. not really sure if the blu-rays would make much a different unlike monmusu for instance with nips everywhere
