Man, I always hated the Rurouni Kenshin OP. It starts out great and then the singing starts...
Kekkai Sensen is great. It still feels like such a throwback series. Like something that would have been made in the late 90's. The character designs, story, setting, and music all feel different that most anime made these days. Which I guess makes complete sense once you learn it was created by the guy who made Trigun.

Dragon's Dogma is getting an anime adaptation on Netflix.
Not sure how that will turn out; no one remembers the game for the setting or the story, but for the gameplay that hasn't been replicated since it's release. You could climb on enemies while they stumbled around trying to tear you off, work with your teammates by propelling them off of your shield to launch them into the air so they can grab onto a flying enemy, train your AI party members to imitate you, and so on. The party combos and the monster fights are what made the game memorable, which was really a thing that works best in the game medium. slime ep 23 so I guess this is basically the end of the anime with the last 2 eps being other stuff. I'd guess the one girl is like a reincarnation of shizue and the spirit that was summoned was her future self. the show has been good but just kinda meh the last like halfish
mob s2 ep 9 of course the parents won a hot spring vacation!
mob s2 ep 10 BODY IMPROVEMENT CLUB! I was really wishing it was the dude himself who overpowered the esper though.
I wish I could just marathon these last couple episodes
Interesting since like you said the story was pretty meh. but man the gameplay has stuck with me for a long time. I know there's an MMO for it in Japan so that might be part of the reason. Since it's netflix might be like castlevania.

Slime anime....those few last episodes are weak. They could at least show how they rebuild a golem.... but no, they re-used old screens.

To be fair its an odd way to end a season. They are leaving off in the middle of shit somehow. Like yes its obvious there will be more seasons considering how popular it is, but the manga and ln have so much material left, they introduced so much characters like Milim and a lot of other demon lords, like where they are leaving off is not really what id call an ending, let alone an interesting one. The LN is very far ahead. Leaving things as they are is very weird. If they wanted to make this coincide only with the manga, it is a mistake to have made this 25 episodes to just fill everything. Now they will have a multi year break ending with a very weak ending. Originally Posted by bals
