shield hero 13 is this supposed to be some /r/niceguys commentary on the current social situation in the world (being from japan I doubt that's the case though)? dude repeatedly does good but one woman lies saying he's evil and everyone in the world hates him. I just don't even get it. I guess I'm waiting for the shitty plot twist to make this show make any sense

Warning since this contains some minor spoilers that compare the WN to the anime. There is a certain reason why Malty hates him so much and constantly tries to make Naofumi's life hell, but since that's a spoiler from near the end of the WN I won't go any deeper into that. In regards to everyone hating him, the anime isn't doing a good job in this regard. At this point in the story he's already very much a hero to the normal people in the places that he visited and helped out. In the next couple of episodes it will become more obvious as to why the nobles seem to hate him, which has to do with the church of the three heroes (spear, bow and sword). Originally Posted by bals

Only ended up sticking with Shield Hero, Kaguya, and SAO
Kaguya was consistently funny though a little repetitive. Chika was definitely my favorite. 8/10
SAO started off being really interesting and quickly devolved back into just being more SAO. It wasn't terrible though. 7/10
Shield Hero is still ongoing but definitely my favorite of the season. A little formulaic with certain plot elements though.

Really liking Reichknot/Reichnaught. Too bad it seems like he'll barely get anymore screentime after this. He wasn't even in the scene where the protagonists broke through the wall.
