I feel like I am the only person on earth that has watched Kono Oto Tomare. Whenever I mention it, my friends look at me like they have no clue.

Forgot to mention one of the anime: Aggretsuko.
9. It was a very fun season and definitely a show I am surprised I am enjoying as much as I am.
This season has been my favorite since Winter 2018. Although nothing hit as hard as Sora Yori for me, there were some memorable shows.
9/10: Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu - Somehow the humor in this show always stayed legitimately funny, while also still being way too relateable. Season 2 a must.
8/10: Kono Oto Tomare - I didn't know what a koto is, but it doesn't really matter. Could stick a harmonica in there and it'd still have the same effect. Having Kyou from Fruits Basket/Bakugou from My Hero Academia, progress and be likable, displays what makes this show so fun. Character development for days. Season 2 already coming in the Fall, it's gonna be good.
Rising of the Shield Hero - I am fully aware of all the faults with this show. But it was still a lot of fun through most of it. Regardless of the reason, seeing a sort of anti-hero, and one who isn't stupid or naive like a lot of protagonists is refreshing. I will admit that the show might not be as good if Naofumi's companions weren't a shapeshifiting loli chocobo, and a cute as hell tanooki. Kinda wished they didn't go full video game near the end though.
Fairy Tail Final Arc - It started out good, with the whole getting the band back together. And there has been some powerful moments. But the format is really annoying, with multiple things happening all at once and pretty much nothing getting enough attention. I don't think there is a point in people complaining anymore though, about the whole friendship and "oh they're dead, but not really". After 300 episodes, you'd be used to it by now. You know what you're getting at this point. But I feel the story was rushed for this part. Also Black Clover has better fight animations. It has been nice to see more minor characters like Levy and Chelia get their time in the sun though.
Fruits Basket - As someone who has never seen the original. So far has felt a bit inconsistent. For example, episode 13 aired recently. And I saw myself being bored. But there has been some real fun episodes, a couple good emotional moments, and overall it's been solid. I do wish Tooru's school friends had more screentime though. I feel like the story is just ramping up.
7/10: Kenja no Mago - This is barely an isekai, and doesn't really follow the same format. As opposed to an OP protagonist solving everything, it's an OP protagonist teaching everyone else how to be OP. Also, can't go wrong with an actual romance along with it. Like a lot of these shows, the ending is pretty much in the worst possible spot.
Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san - Yes, it's comfy, and it can be funny. Not often, but can be. They really try to tow the line between cute and creepy though, but the whole idea of this show is being super meta about seinen as a genre. So they address it pretty quickly every time.
Senryuu Shoujo - It's nice seeing a pair of friends already established and growing closer as a romance, as opposed to the constant stream of "the childhood friend never wins". While there wasn't really a satisfying ending, the relationship between Nanako and Eiji is adorable.
We Never Learn - Better than Quints. A bit funnier, no "everybody hates him immediately because reasons" start. No Miku though, so that's a loss.
6/10: Strike Witches: 501 Butai Hasshin Shimasu! - I didn't expect much, but I still felt a bit disappointed. It could be funny, but it took awhile, and I felt they recycled entire ideas and conversations from the main series. Just give me season 3 now.
5/10: Isekai Quartet - Maybe it'd be better if I was familiar with more than one of the shows? But even then, the characters I am familiar with weren't really doing anything particularly entertaining.
4/10: Ao-chan Can't Study - Know why she can't study? Because she changes her mind every .25 seconds. She's so annoying. It's basically "leave me alone, I gotta study WHYAREN'TYOUTRYINGTOFUCKME!". Repeat. And as annoying as that is, multiply by many for her dad.
Now to wait for Netflix. Carole & Tuesday is two-cour, so it's gonna be awhile.
I didn't say it wasn't one. By definition, yes, it is. But when people hear the word, it induces some form of of ideas that are generalized. And it should be noted the ones that aren't that simple. This show could have easily gotten rid of the reborn backstory and it would work just as well. It's also important to note that Shin wasn't just given his powers. He trained under some of the most powerful wizards his entire childhood. While he does use knowledge of his past life to enhance it, the idea of him even being reborn is barely mentioned past the first episode.
didn't watch much from this season so here's some shit that i finished up
attack on titan s3 part 2 (episode 59) ending they really did a good job making the story. it's really changed quite a bit since the beginning. the mikasa being cute in the sea was a fun contrast to MURDER
shield hero ending - better if it didn't have such cringe ass writing. got better as the show went on but the first part was awful
kemono friends s2 wasn't really as good as s1 but i really don't think it deserved as much hate as it got. domestic dog stuff was kind of fucked up and the beast stuff too
opm s2 end - i know this hasn't ended yet but i love opm s2 obviously the animation was down but there were lots of other flaws with it too. it didn't help that this part of the manga was pretty bad too. I think saitama va was really bad in a lot of spots and they could have added another full episode I think would have helped. kicking dude (shiryu?) had more in the manga with the monster cell parts fighting that could have been added in and i feel the last episode of s2 will be jam packed. I forgot how comical it was that saitama was like oh yeah genos is super strong don't worry! *remembers genos always getting his ass kicked* wait no I should check on him
still need to watch the last two episodes of senko-san but 10/10
Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e -- pretty good start for 1.st episode.
Similar settings like fairy gone, but much better.
Where would someone find Sounan Desu ka? to watch?
"Would you please let me join your p-p-party?
I think i need to re-watch Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka since season 2 will be out next week.
And its been 4 years since i seen it.
