Log Horizon season 1 was passable at best. A lot wrong with it, but it was a solid 7/10.
Season 2 was an absolute abysmal shit pile. They took what was okay with season 1 and ripped it apart and defecated on its corpse.

Well, they took the light novels and adapted them pretty accurately. I saw this same delusion with Goblin Slayer, that somehow these anime were created from scratch.

Accurate adaptation doesn't make s2 any less terrible. Directing and pacing were shitastic.

In/Spectre OP reminds me of another show that I can't quite put my finger on. Hopefully the pacing starts to pick up now that the exposition has been taken care of. It's a fun series and the character design is great.

Log Horizon will always be one of My favorite. It makes me incredibly nostalgic and I even love the moments of the kids learning how to go through the dungeon - we were all there at one point.
I also love the class and profession system. It’s interesting theory crafting the different combinations.
Reading DanMachi LN 14 - loving it. Only half way through but it’s enjoyable watching the progress on everyone!

I'm well aware it's an adaptation, and if anything the fact that they adapted a light novel this poorly either means the source material of those arcs were bad (which isn't surprising, SAO had the same thing going for part of season 1 and season 2), or they took decent source material and destroyed it.
