    Haven't won a game yet

I know I suck but statistically speaking I should have been placed on a winning team.

Last night I played 4 games for my win 3 daily. Lost 3, and the one I won didn't register because apparently that damn bug is back.

    Sigh.

Out of how many games? If it is two..

The thing about Hots is that it is so more team based than lets say LoL, it is kinda hard to carry a game alone (even early levels, where as LoL you can just win your lane and force them to surrender at 20minutes).

Keep playing, you will win eventually.

Also keep in mind with launch there's a flood of people that don't understand the game yet.. so it's gonna be tough

Accept that Heroes of the Storm is a crappy game, that Blizzard's matchmaking algorithm is crap and just don't play it.

There are so many MOBAs out there... and better, more established ones. I think people sometimes just play games because they come out with the "Blizzard" stamp, but that has long lost any special meaning it might have had.

...or accept that opinions may differ. In my experience, HoTS is far less about the individual and much more about the team than most MOBA's. That promotes teamplay, instead of going for that pentakill. Shared xp means everyone benefits from good teamwork AND good individual play. Snowballing is less of an issue, so you can actually still come back from an initial bad start of a game (and may easily still lose even if you start strong).

Games are less drawn out than most MOBAs, and start interesting and stay interesting until the end. No 20 minute lane farm at the start of every game (yawn). Some people complain about the lack of items, but the skill upgrade system essentially works the same.

In short, I was pleasently suprised by the quality of the game, it is far more than Blizzards next cash cow.

Well, I guess the game is officially live so we can look forward to many more of these kinds of worthless hate posts that aren't even on-topic for the thread in this subforum from now on.

It was such a nice place while it lasted.

@OP just keep going at it, you'll win some eventually. Hots is very team oriented so it might help for you to try to voice (if you're not already) your intent. Like where you want to go, what you want to do (teamfight, push, and ect). Little things like that will help a lot. If you're playing with AI teamates then I suggest playing with other players, if you're playing against players and you're brand new to the game I suggest doing player vs computer games to unlock your talents and get a better feel for the game first.

It was? Last time I was here was still during the alpha and saw the same schitte over and over again. But I suppose since the game is no official out (right?) and quickly becoming very popular, so the haters are bound to climb out from under their bridges more often.

If you're new to MOBA in general and only started playing Heroes of the Storm on release, then you wont necessarily have been placed on a "winning team", others like you may have started playing the game upon release, and actually be in the same boat.

If you are new to the game, then just keep learning the game, and plugging away, you will eventually get into a group with a player who can probably teach you a thing or two about the map you're on.

If you're having trouble trying playing a few games vs AI.
    Should help you improve.

Even with the new players flowing in the game i feel the Matchmaking is OK(ish).
Out of 4 games yesterday, won 3. The loss was a very clear mistake from 2 team members going 2v5 as i explained to them. Hope they learned =)

Replays are automatically saved, so on the Watch tab, you could watch the enemy team to see what they did right. Or you can watch yourself and see the mistakes you made. I recommended this to a new player some time back, and now she's a lot less prone to random suicide exploration. It helps.

Loss streaks happen, just keep going and learning. You'll also have times where you win 5 in a row too.

I've had a 17 loss streak once. That was fun...

I started when the open beta started and won over a dozen games vrs ai before losing one, brought my friends in 2 days before open beta was over and they were noobs to mobas so we lost one badly, then lost one barely, then we barely won one, and since then we have been crushing out wins with a couple of sprinkled in loses. Sometimes the ai gets on a roll in a 5 man gang and you just can't peel them apart, especially when every single one of them has a stun. Stun stun stun stun stun dead.

If you are playing against AI and losing every game it may be because you are all noobs. Even one noob can make some boards impossible, if only 4 go into the mines and the noob stays out the ai will gang bash the 4 down. If you are playing against players then you may be struggling against experienced players.

14-1 out of my last 15 games. Then again if I scroll down a ways on my games played theres a spot with like 2 full pages of losses. It happens: most of my losses are when I decide to solo-que and not with my friends.

There's very little you can do if you've been placed into a 5 assassin team against a perfectly balanced support/melee/assassin/specialist team.

The match making sucked balls on alpha and beta and I don't expect it to be better now.

This. Especially with the flood of new players who are unrated, queuing for quick matches is a disaster. HotS really needs a separate MMR to pit newbies against each other for a while before letting them out into the greater MMR ladder, otherwise everyone's ranking will be skewed. In the mean time, you can do versus AI (where you should have a 100% winrate) while things settle down.

Just had a game with 4 assassin and a Zag against a "balanced" setup. Absolutely demolished them; they didn't even destroy a fort. Kael/Jania from me and my friend carried so hard late-game it was silly.

The matchmaking can be annoying sometimes (actually fought a 4 support + illidan 1 game) but it's the lack of skilled players that gets me. I don't care if the comps are terrible as long as the players are good TBH.

the only statistics that go with these types of games is...you will get idiots. there is no "statistically the enemy should have more bad players..ect..ect"

and team balance doesnt exist either in QM. i had a team of 2 warriors, 2 supports and 1 assassin. the rest of my team gave up because we "have no damage" and just sat afk until we lost. then the next game i was playing diablo, the same champion i had in the last game. i went top with lili vs kaelthas and raynor, and we decimated them, over and over. because lili and i outplayed them.

If what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Then I should be a god by now.
