Tavern Brawl is out

Actually enjoyed the brawl. Especially when my opponent was playing rogue and went mind portals, and got the legendary that gives you a 1/1 of your creatures when they die, and then added a copy of every friendly minion to their hand and filled the board with 2 of those legendaries and 2 of the 5/3 Panda legendary that gives jade on battlecry and deathrattle. His board went from empty to full in a turn....psychic scream was very fun there.

As usual in these types of Brawl things go very slowly to begin with. Might play it more over the week to complete quests. Anyway, opening my 3 packs now...

Marin the Fox summons a 1/1 chest for the opponent that you can kill straight away.
Necrotic Geist - Not sure yet.

Doesn't work
2 x Blood of The Ancient One combines into a 1/1.
Tinkmaster Overspark always makes a 1/1.

For a Brawl that gives you 1 mana minions I have a surprising amount of spells (playing Maly rogue, seems ok)

A brawl with decks containing random "random" cards.

I enjoy the RNG portion of Hearthstone but this brawl couldn't hold my interest.
Every deck is pretty much the same neutrals. Over 8 games i had 3 jousts reveal the same minion for myself and the opponent.

I won my first game on turn 11, and my opponent pulled a Stonesplinter Trogg turn 2. How are you getting such long games?

Troggs are just MVP this game, especially the Troggzor, I played 2 of him in 1 game thanks to duplicate. Didn't need to play the 3rd one as my opponent conceded.

Man this brawl is awful. It combines all the worst RNG aspects in HS and puts them into one brawl. At least you get dust for logging in.

Verily. I did love hatching a 0/1 taunt with lifesteal and wf. At least the pack had plenty of Avengers.

Boards full of tiny minions (that take an extra turn to come online) trading into each other, with tons of roping while people look at dyes.

Definitely one of the worst brawls I've played, if not the worst.

I hate this part of these kinds of Brawls. For the first couple hours you get some real fun as people try out different combos, then everyone realises "oh yeah, Radiant Elemental/Duskbreaker and Mindblast, gg ez winz" and other top-performing combos, and that's all you see until Sunday (when the only people left playing Brawl are usually doing funky stuff again for fun, or finishing quests).

After looking up the decks everyone was playing I threw together a hunter deck to finish my hunter quest. I put explosive trap to counter the combo decks and hyacinth macaw for unlimited value and early game and my opponents conceded every time they triggered my first explosive trap.
