    10 decades in 10 symbols

EDIT: Updated the list (second image)

    .

    Any predictions for the 2020's?
Corrections and suggestions for alternative symbols are welcome*.

*) No, I will not substitute the Commodore 64 logo for the Amiga logo...

Everything seems to revolve around twitter opinions(Oneliners) nowadays. It's only fitting that the twitter logo gets to represent the 2020's.

Something relating to robotics is my prediction for 2020s.

Kinda sad that the recent decades all feature computer/internet related logo's.

They are two of the most important inventions of mankind. Of course everything is going to revolve around them.

Ok, so in 1 or 2 centuries they invented the basics and then we kinda get suck in it. That's how it looks to me at least.

What about something new and exiting that's not computer/internet related in the next century?

Anything that's new and exciting is going to be done with computers and/or some form of complex programming.

Stupid question, but what's the symbol for the 1920's?

That's not really a bright future for many/most people then, is it?

Look at the list, it's all popular culture. Ignoring global social events/problems, two things catch layman's attention: tech and physics (if it's really really big). The symbols, they are all in these 3 categories. If it's not war, it's going to be tech or physics. Tech is more likely than physics.

A variation of the Axis flag would be my guess. World war 1 aftermath and all that perhaps?

The symbol for anti-alcohol movement, I think.

    KKK thingy.

Its strange don't mix tech and political.

Really it starts with political events and then goes into technology.
If you want technology start with the car

If you want political events do 9/11 and fall of the soviet union.
