Favorite Heroes per Category!!!

Warrior: Anub - great mobility, lots of stuns, good damage. Closest next: Diablo for similar reasons
Assassin: none - though Kael is "ok", but I just don't like the role.
Support: Brightwing - cute creepy murder-voice, great abilities, awesome. Closest next: Tyrande. Great damage, stuns and no underwear
Specialist: Abathur and Murky, can't decide - both extremely fun to play and very rewarding

Support:I hate support, so I pretty much only play Tyrande, who's basically an assassin.
Specialist:Zagara

Warrior: Sonya. She's really fun to play, almost feels more like a beefier assassin than a warrior.

Assassin: Jaina. Those "shatter combos", man. Pulling them off is incredibly satisfying.

Support: Tyrande. I love that I can build her to do more damage or to heal, depending on what my team needs.

Specialist: I like a lot of them, but if I had to pick one, it would be Nazeebo. Honorable mentions are Zagara and Sylvanas.

Warrior: Johanna - I just love pulling a group of enemies together and then just walking out with my passive.
Assassin: Jaina or Nova - I love Nova when I go against certain characters like Abathur but Jaina is my normal go-to since she's just always strong.
Specialist: Sgt. Hammer - I love her playstyle, I just do. I know she's not amazing right now (freaking Kael'thas) but I still pull her out since I have her mastered.
Support: Malfurion or Reghar - I play Reghar a bit more aggressively since I love jumping at people in Ghost Wolf form but Malfurion is just a straight up awesome healer.

Warrior: I don't usually play warriors, but Muradin is a lot of fun. He does good damage, and at high levels he is nearly unstoppable.

Assassin: Kerrigan is my most played assassin but she has some balance issues so I will probably have to say Valla. She is so powerful, if played right she is probably the highest single target DPS in the game. I also love archers! Honorable Mention: Thrall. Awesome hero, and I love his play style. People bitch when I pick him in Hero League, but they shut up when I can basically 1 shot the enemy DPS.

Specialist: I said I love archers, and I don't exaggerate. Sylvanas was the first heros I bought with gold and I still play her more than any other character. Lots of fun, and I like how she can have different builds for different situations. She can be a serious exp farmer, or be incredibly mobile and hard to kill.

Support: Malfurion is my favorite, I used to play a resto druid in WoW so it kinda speaks to me. I think Lili is an overall better support, but less fun to play.

Warrior - Johanna - Love how much control she has and at least in low MMR games (where I am, I don't mind admitting it) I can normally put out some pretty respectable damage.

Support - Tyrande - Love Tyrande, great stun, her mark is awesome and her heals are far from as awful as some would have you believe.

Assassin - Valla - Valla's kit seems pretty simple but it's a lot of fun

Specialist - Probably Zagara but only because I have kind of lost interest in the other specialists recently

Warrior: Anub'arak! He is so awesome, a huge bug that can burrow, plus he is a strong hero too.
Assassin: Jaina. I love mages, especially frost mages, and she is the epitome of it. Plus she is hella cute in HotS.
Support: Brightwing, definitely. Liked her before the changes, like her now. Faerie dragon was my favorite pet in WoW, and here I can play as one!
Specialist: Abathur. Without a shadow of doubt, Abathur. He is so different, so fun, so versatile and skillful that I just can't stop playing him.

Support: Rehgar by far, hes just insanely good at team healing.
Specialist: Zagara or Sylvanas, I like both for different reasons.
Assassin: I like 4, Kerrigan Zeratul Illidan and Kael'thas
Tanks: Again I like 4/5 , Johanna, Muradin, ETC, Stitches and Chen.

Warrior - Johanna because op shield, no stuns effected no slows/roots. Has channeling cancel spell and is great durable hero all that good tank needs.

assassin - Nova and zeratul, just love that stealthy, sneaky play. And they are games best nukers.

support - Uther undoubtedly, he has burst heals not one but can go up to 3 different heals and plus shield. Has good mana capacity and great durability not to talk about them fast stuns.

specialist - This one is hardest I think they are all so unique, love playing certain specs on certain maps. But id go with azmodan if it comes to pushin and smashing also quite good damage dealer in fights. followed up by sylvanas and zagera

Highest winrates it stays the same except Tassadar replaces Tyrande.

Assasin: Jaina, she was the first one I bought and still the one I enjoy most

Support: I loved little Bright, I still do but she is benched until updated to viable, so Malfurion is the one atm

Well on that basis it'd be Azmodan (75%), Uther (60%), ETC (56.5%) and Valla (50%). That also matches my overall win rate per role (Spec > Supp > Warr > Assass)
