    N'zoth comes

N'zoth is coming. Whether or not he comes from the sleeping city, the emerald dream, the Nerubian Gate, or some other place, he's coming. I don't know if he's the expansion endboss, but assuredly, he and his minions are coming. And I'm ecstatic about it.

What are your thoughts? Where is he coming, how and why?

Interesting question. Has he done what I would do, and consumed the remaining essence of the other OGs? Or is he complete within himself? Remember, he's the only OG as far as we know who isn't chained, diminished or destroyed.

N'zoth is a multi-expac villain for sure. As powerful as Azshara, Neptulon, Ozumat, Deathwing, the Forgotten Ones, the Dragons of the Nightmare were, they were just all pawns of the Old God N'zoth. He won't be the final boss of an Azshara expansion, maybe even not the last boss of an Emerald Dream expansion. Probably of a Spider Kingdom expansion that takes place in subterranean Azeroth, where we finally face up against N'zoth in all his terrible glory.

What body part is N'zoth going to symbolize? A giant nose?

    You assume it's pre-ordained he's next.

He comes with Azshara, they're a packaged set.

Gul'dan and N'zoth will do a fusion dance and become Gul'zoth, and tear our Azeroth a new Maelstrom.

Azshara is definitely the queen of his chessboard. But remember how many other peices he has besides her?

Yeah. I killed like 2/3rds of his board back in Cata. No more Twilight Hammer, no more Deathwing.

All he's really got is the Naga.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the most important question regarding that Old God. What if it's hair? Hair everywhere... SHAVING IS USELESS.

And the Nerubian armies. And the Nightmare Dragons. And who knows what he has down under the sea? I'm hoping for Meglodons

None that I know of. The fact that he is at the very bottom of the ocean, an ocean that didn't exist when the old gods were free, suggests that he was chained underground just like the rest.

Nerubian were Yogg-saron, and a decent sect of them are actually not allied with any Old God.

Nightmare Dragons have been cleaned up thanks to Stormrage.

Anything under the sea falls under the Naga heading AFAIAC.

Anyway. Yay for another old god. I hope N'Zoth is the old god that manifests as ears. I mean... C'thune was the eyes. Yogg-saron was all mouths. I need to see ears or noses. I will then be happy.
Hardeharhar, youse a funny guy. Nzoth is sometimes depicted as the Prince In Yellow

I am of the minority that enjoyed vashir and am hoping for a more nautical themed expansion. My seahorse is lonely and needs some riding again.
