That's it! This is the condition that Jamie Lee Curtis was rumored to have had.

What you are describing are "cultural gender normative states". They have been examined exhaustively, and the answer is conflicted at best. Gender norms are a cultural construct, but are they consequential in today's society? That depends on who you ask. Gender norms are quite different from even 20-30 years ago across the world.

She accidentally revealed a bit more than she intended when posting a sunburn photo. I think she's gotten over the embarrassment now.

    This is completely ridiculous.

A Transgender person believes they were born the wrong gender.

A Drag Queen creates a persona of a woman (whether its fishy or extreme) - but they still want to be a man 'untucked'

Its like saying Women would be offended by Drag Queens.

    Completely wrong.

No. Two Spirit still refers to a binary, which still assumes that males and females have two predictable sets of intrinsic behaviors.

At this point you are just being purposely obtuse. It is this type of anti-logic that I hate about Tumblr. 75-90% of the Human race is Binary, therefore anyone not following this is non-binary, however we can use terms associated with the binary to communicate ideas, to say otherwise is Newspeak and wrong.

I agree that in the short term, the best solution is to accept how people feel and support whatever transition they choose to undertake.

However, when it comes to long term solutions and the underlying motivations behind these behaviors, I think it's important to investigate and understand their cause. I just don't buy the idea that there are male brains and female brains, not only because of innate plasticity but also because it doesn't make any sense at all to ascribe genders to brains. There is a human brain, and a male or female or other body. If you don't feel right in your body, it's because you see how other people of your sex act and reject it, which leads to self-rejection, which for some reason, we are supporting as the trans movement. Self-acceptance seems like a better path to me.

Well you could just say you're a human. And you have a penis (?). So you're male. And not give a fuck what anyone thinks about how you should or should not act/dress.

There are actually physical differences in the male and female brains. Men tend to produce more estrogens in their hypothalamus, while women tend to produce fewer. There are other regional differences, but it mostly comes down to the amounts of hormones produced.

Oh, you are anti-trans. You are just trying to justify it with Tumblr speak. Sorry, you are fully wrong, and have no idea what you are talking about.

Yes, and some areas of the brain might be larger or smaller in correlation with your sex. But that doesn't mean male and female brains exist. It just means, for example, that hypothalamic production of estrogens is correlated with male sex.

Also, you really don't have a clue about me, I really don't give a *&^% what people think about me, I was a biker, a goth, and a marine. Do you think I give a f***?

If some one dis's me while I'm dressed fem with a beard, (ie back in the 90's), I'd just kick their ass. I want you to know I do lift, and I do it for my own health. I am in transition because my mind is fully female, but I'm also big and strong and can fight. However most of the time I sit at home with my cats, typing on the internet.

I don't know what Tumblr speak is, I don't use that site. And yeah, I am anti-trans (maybe not by your definition though, I didn't read all of your definitions posts) because I don't understand why people are so eager to conform to gender norms while supporting a movement built ironically on non-conformity.

I support the notion that gender is a fabricated tool of social control, and we would all be better off applying our identities to our sex, and not the other way around.

There are other treatments for depression. I think culture can change in such a way that it empowers people so they do not feel like they need to have a different body.
