I didn't see this anywhere. This is a sad day for Nintendo fans everywhere. The president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, passed away yesterday.

His legacy will live on, as long as there is someone that enjoys one of the many games he has worked on, but my condolences to his family and friends.

Heartbroken, I grew up playing Kirby's Dreamland on my Game Boy. Iwata has been a part of so much of my childhood, lending his talent and vision to so many games that have been a defining factor of my life.
55 years old is no age to lose anyone, especially someone so talented and who's passion brought happiness to millions. Fuck cancer.

He created many temples of peace by bringing happiness through video games. Now I am sad, because my best memories were playing some of his games with my dad helping
