Council of Glades, grammatically, is a council pertaining to any and all glades ever. That makes no sense unless it's referring to something we don't know of yet, whereas Council of the Glades has precedence in existing lore (Council of Tirisfal) and is obviously referring to Tirisfal Glades. Odd.

If this is legit, I actually really like this title! I haven't been able to say that since Wrath of the Lich King

World of Warcraft: Council of the Glades

    That's awesome.

Maybe council of glades is something like an emergency council of us players, the current council of tristifal and important faction leaders?

You can't confirm if it's paid or not if the trademark is deliberately withheld from the public for a short period..

Maybe it's just me, but if I worked for an organisation like that and wanted to leak something.. I'd definitely make sure I covered my tracks at work, and on a relatively public forum (as in, well-known gaming site which could be enticed to give up the user IP). I'd VPN/Proxy at a minimum. Though I am rather paranoid at the best of times.

If that procedure does exist, and they did pay for it, I doubt that fact would be public knowledge.
With the previous fake leaks we only ever saw the 30 day (or whatever it is) reservation which basically just lingered until it expired, with the real ones we saw the reservation and within hours the confirmed trade mark. Not sure if it works differently in NZ, but again I think the real ones usually 'show up' in the US one first; even if they're originally filed somewhere that doesn't have online records so that they can use that as an effective 'reserve' in the US - and NZ clearly does keep online records; they're not obscure enough for that trickery.

    Nope.

I was the one who posed the question to Chris Metzen at the Mists of Pandaria launch event in 2012.

He said "in terms of what's next, you're gonna need their help". What was next, at that point in time, was WoD.

Or better yet, contact some friend who lives in another country to post it for you. Which is what most leakers do.

Huh, could have sworn there was a reference to them during Blizzcon 2013.

Actually I think they said that at the MOP release event Q&A. So I think they were talking about WoD.

    Edit: Yeah what Mojo said.

They might have updated their promise, saying "we couldn't fit them in that time... but in the next one!".

That's really overly pedantic. Where's your sense of poetic license?

Might be the case. Which brings us once again to the Dance Studio, now with Alleria and Turalyon. Both wielding Ashbringers.

Council of Glades is grammatically incorrect

if anything it'd have to be Council of THE Glades if it's supposed to refer to the Council of Tirisfal (Glades)

Then come back here and tell us again, that the DB isn't updated until later this week........

Honestly, Council of the Glades is more poetic than Council of Glades, simply because well... the latter sounds like a newspaper headline.

I'm not saying Council of Glades is totally grammatically incorrect, but I think Council of Glades sounds like something from someone who heard of the Council of Tirisfal and then just took that name and swapped out the Tirisfal with Glades. I'm just saying, if I was to invent such a name, I think Council of the Glades would just be a more natural sounding name.

In that case, can anyone confirm if NZ's trademark office does offer that 'secrecy' service?

Anyone else catch this on page 70? If the document is legit the name of the expansion may not be the release title
You're late to the party, and Google would have told you so.
