Council of Glades makes no sense. We have the Council of Tirisfal. We have the Tirisfal Glades. But Council of Glades? Not even Council of the Glades? This sounds like something made up by someone who either 1) wants to troll or 2) doesn't know how to pick a cool, proper-sounding name.

As I made mention of earlier while shuddering, what if it is to differentiate the actual Council of Trisfal (you know the current one with Jaina and shit on Azeroth) and this Council of Trisfal.... a past one. Just a thought. A thought I hope stays that way and this is all a fake.

The Council of Glades could also referring to the place it was formed (Maybe in Undercity for some reason?) or in response to something that happened at Tirisfal? I mean it seems a bit silly to be dismissing it by some people just because of a single letter "s" after Glade.

I think it's more friendly to people who don't know the game's lore. If it was Council of Tirisfal, they would be "wtf os Tirisfal?!?!". Glades has a cool sound (Glaaaeideess), like Spades.

It's not only about me not liking the name, it's about me thinking it's unlikely to be a name picked by Blizzard, unless Blizzard is now run by an idiot.

We've had a couple of fake trademarks in the past, so I'm skeptical.

And if it's a real thing, maybe it's Diablo. Though it would be a stupid name for Diablo, too.

I can find all trademarks in the PDF including Overwatch and Heroes of the Dorm on the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand website, but not COUNCIL OF GLADES. The PDF report style does match the PDF I just generated via the export function on the search form. Would be nice to know how OP got it to include Council of Glades (if real).

It doesn't sound like anything Starcraft-ish or Diablo-ish. Hearthstone just got an announcement for a new expansion, Overwatch still wasn't released so it's not them either. Heroes of the Storm? Hell, doesn't sound like something they'd do for that.

It sure sounds like something tied to Warcraft, whether it's an expansion or something else (toys, mini-series like Lords Of War, etc) we don't know, but if this is true, then we have a potential WoW trademark popping up right before Gamescom.

I don't think Lords of War had a trademark, though. Did it? If it did, I'd be interested in seeing if it also included the implication of video games, like the Council of Glades does with its trademark specifics.

It's one zone though, everywhere in the lore it's referred to as 'the Tirisfal Glades' of 'the glades of Tirisfal'.

These things have codes, right? Is there anything that shares the same code as this trademark? If not, it could be something that's not yet uploaded to the webpage (someone said it updated on thursdays), but it's already there if you have the program they use at the office.
