Yay for more speculation.
keeps me occupied until the actual announcement
Could take anywhere from 10 days upwards to get approved.
I don't know. Wasn't it like friday in the US?
You'll find other applications in the public database filed on July 25th, like this one:
iponz.govt.nz/app/Extra/IP/Mutual/Browse.aspx?sid=635736654427683857
Why was the PDF you provided created with a different program than the Apache server that generates other PDFs from the site? That was one of the big 'fake' signs.
Thanks for the answers, OP.
nitpicking, can we get this moved to WoW General?
This would seem 100x better than a south seas expansion even without knowing what it's about. Hopefully we'll finally know what's under TirisfalI still think it's Subway. And Bolvar and friends are there.
Why are we still here? The trademark ID was Warlords of Draenor's.
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
Shrug. I'd be 110% paranoid about losing my job and other consequences. This sounds like something I'd do. Though I'd love to know how you edited the first page of the document and kept the formatting perfect in Word. I couldn't manage it
You also realise there's a name attached to the document metadata, right? If that's actually you..
Because as I pointed out last night, you can change your client ID to anything you like, including previous trademark IDs, while the application is in progress. It's an easy way to obfuscate, if the trademark were found prematurely.
It's straight out not applicable as a means of refuting the application. You can find the info (that you can change client reference IDs at will, without it showing on the trademark history) directly on the IPONZ website.
No it wasn't.
The client reference numbers are the same not the ID number.
It only has an ID number while going through the to process AFAIK. Once it's published it gets a IP number.
The client reference number can be assigned by the client. Go look it up on the IPONZ site. They have a pdf about the trademark process. Page 13 explains what it is

It was Saturday on the 25th all over the world. It's kind of how calendars work.
And you still haven't shown how the trademark office makes records hidden from the public, despite there being no hint or trace of that kind of "service" to be found, as you claim in the first post in this thread.
Oddly, it makes sense that Blizzard would do everything they can think of to throw us off the scent, including using the WoD reference number since they'll only be asked to change it upon its acceptance.
Thank you comfortpro for the clarifications. I'm thoroughly interested in this post again. Real or not, I enjoy reading all of the crazy speculation before announcements.
