Yeah, it was always here because (presumably) the OP was just reporting there was a trademark of something, not outright presenting it as fuel for the hype train. I suppose since we can't be sure if trademark leaks are WoW, they should go here if they're really just being reported as existing.
I'd say D3, except they've already told us a large amount about the next major update. I mean, I'm not ruling it out. However, we all know we are due for an expac announcement for WoW. My hope is that they are actually going to announce it at Gamescon instead of waiting another three months. That's the difference between having the current raid and patch for another year or 9 months.

So was this busted yet?
It is plausible at this point.
Originally we thought it was busted because of the Word tampering, but OP claims it was because he copied it, others have tried to replicate the file appearence in the same word processor and could not do it, even when just copying. The last remaining piece that screamed fake was the fact that the trademark was filed on a Saturday in New Zealand, which is against the rules/law, however, that has now also been determined to happen on several occasions by another user. Basically, we are right where we started.
Why would it kill excitement? I'm seeing this thrown out without anything to back it up.
I want to play 2.3 for sure. I haven't played in 2 months, but waiting for 2.3 so I can get my season stuff and move on. If anything, an expansion announcement might bring more people into the game for 2.3, because you would have 2.3 hype AND expansion hype.
If you are talking about string along marketing, then sure it doesn't make sense. Expansion announcement shits on 2.3? That doesn't make sense in the slightest.
it's going to be a book i bet 1000 gold on MG it's gonna be a book , but of not i place 3500 gold it's not gonna be an exspansion pack.
Simple - makes it feel a lot less fresh. Right now 2.3 is the thing, it's the newest and biggest content update we got since RoS. People have every reason to get excited for it. If the expansion was announced, however, I bet a lot of players "could not wait" to try it out on the PTR/beta. Would they play 2.3? Absolutely. Would it feel just as fresh, new and exciting if you knew there's something ever bigger, something that will drastically change the game, coming relatively soon? I just can't imagine it.
i just can't accept it to be real cause of the title. Council of Glades sounds terrible to me. I can't imagine blizz thinking that's the best they could come up with. It makes me curious but it doesn't ignite the spark inside me for WoW.
so Warlords of Draenor is /'woɹː.loɹːdz ʌv 'ɖɹæːn.oɹː/.I've always loved how in an attempt to make pronunciation through text easier to understand people have created a seemingly alien cypher for which few people without a degree related to language would ever been able to understand.
