The goals is to remove PvP gear. There will be PvP ways to obtain gear, but the power in PvP will be about the gear you obtain and the PvP talents that you unlock.

So they want to remove PvP gear, then they will be ways to obtain PvP gear ?

The new system is similar to a PvP talent system. As you gain honor, you progress through ranks from 1 to 50. Each rank gives you perks and bonuses, as well as unlocking PvP talents. The PvP talents allow the team to balance PvP more independently of PvE. These abilities will only work in battlegrounds and arenas

They don't care about wpvp, dude, get used to it.

Personally, a sub cancellation is on the table if next expac pve-ers will be able to beat pvp-ers in wpvp due to having better pve gear just like Timeless Isle. Even if you're skilled at pvp, there isn't much you can do against someone who has double or triple your hp (if lock with sac demon) and can literally 2-3 shot you if he can free cast something.

Lol? They went out of their way to discourage players from doing pvp to obtain raid entry-level pve gear because pvp gives rewards faster than LFR or heroic dungeons, and you think they will go 180 on that and allow players to do pvp for pve gear?

There won't be PVP/PVE gear in Legion just gear and you can acquire it by doing PVE or PVP, the differentiation between PVE and PVP will be separate talent trees :-)

That's not the problem, the problem comes up with those who do PVE can get better PVP gear than those who do actual PVP, like how it happened in MoP.

This is how they are planning it for Legion - they said that the current plan is to have no separate PVP gear, just PVE gear, and NOT SCALE IT IN PVP. Raiding gear will dominate again, think Shadowmourne arenas in LK.

They never learn.
