worth it?

wanted to play with priest but i get lvled up faster my rogue and now iam thinking to reroll to my priest.
BUT is it worth? i looked on forums what people talking about shadow priests in pve/pvp
and most of post was its sucks
so can u help me to make a decision? i tryed some rbgs i was pretty good but its SO FAKIN HARD :|
i had found few threads about pve dps so always all saying like shpriest cant be top dps

Worth it.

The whining will be there regardless of the class / spec. You'll even find people on mage / hunter forums asking for buffs, which is beyond retarded.

On most situations, shadow priest can't be top dps unless someone sucks, but the gap hasn't been so narrow in years.

Shadow is pretty niche compared to hunters, locks and mages. Similar to Elemental or Balance, Shadow excels at a specific role with average single-target.

Shadow is average overall this tier, not great, not bad.

Reroll to whatever you think is most fun. The differences between classes aren't big enough to cause a stall in progression.
