    Talking Locations with dirty names (NSFW?)

    In Finland, we have lots of places which have very dirty official names. A newspaper made an interactive map, which shows 1633 locations with a dirty name.

    Some examples with translations are such as:

    - Pimppiniemi (Cunt Cape)
    - Ämmänperse (Bitch's Ass)
    - Kulliluoto (Dick Islet)
    - Hätäpaskansuo (Emergency Shit's Swamp)
    - Homeperseensuo (Moldy Ass Swamp)
    - Paskakettu (Shit Fox)
    - Kaninpaska (Rabbit's Shit)
    - Horonen (Whore-y)
    - Tussukoski (Pussy Rapid)
    - Helvetinhauta (Grave of Hell)
    - Vittulampi (Pussy Pond)
    - Seitsemänpaskanräme (Marsh of the Seven Shits) <- one of my favourites
    - Pontikkakumpu (Moonshine Hill, not really dirty though, but booze and moonshine are quite common in the names)
    - Paskalomaoja (Shit Vacation Trench)
    - Kusipää (Piss Head)
    - Telotussuo (Execution Swamp)
    - Paskarahka (Shit Quark)
    - Helvetinlammi (Pond of Hell)
    - Karhunperse (Bear's Ass)
    - Runkausvaara (Masturbation Danger/Hill)
    - Saaranpaskantamasaari (An Island shat by Saara) <- absolutely brilliant
    - Tissisaaret (Titty Islands)
    - Homosaari (Gay Island)
    - Juostenpaskattu (Shat while running)

    But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
    Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

    No they didn't mean different things. It was just not considered as foul those days. These have very distinctive meaning.

    Actually, the english name is photoshoped, but that town is real ...and its pronounced "fuck". I bet they changed the english name to faak, or fack. Or something, instead of embracing it.
