    They do it because it gives their cause free advertising, money, recruits and political influence. It is very effective.

    If you oppose terrorism then don't acknowledge it. If no one watches it or talks about it, the media will stop reporting it. If the media stops reporting it, terrorists will stop doing it.

    Another explosion today

    Luckily, the guy who threw the bomb bag missed his target and it fell into some sort of river, exploding in the water thus injuring nobody. Very similar bomb, with "bullets" inside for maximum damage
