using xbox one on pc via windows 10....will it work with surround headset?.....

Ok so basically I have an asus strix 7.1 surround headset(genuine not virtual surround) and ive just got windows 10 and can use my xbox one through it. my question is if I stream the xbox one on the pc and I have the surround headset connected to the pc will I be playing my xbox games in surround sound? will it be able to take advantage of the pcs headset I mean or is there something I need to do in the xbox config to enable surround sound?

should say, I'm well aware the xbox when streamed uses the pcs sound hardware......but my question is how to actually enable surround sound mix from the xbox one? or is it enabled automatically when playing through surround hardware? I know you can enable surround if you select hdmi as an audio out with the xbox config? would this then automatically stream surround audio through the pc?

If the Xbox 1 outputs 7.1 audio yes, but it probably doesn't.
