English culture is like the extreme ends of American culture:


The cultured people are more cultured, the trashy people are more trashy.
Even their hard to understand accents are more extreme than our hard to understand accents.

I've had shitty breakfasts on the continent, therefore all continental breakfasts are shitty...that's your logic. It's easier not to fuck up a continental breakfast - being incompetence proof isn't a ringing endorsement.

Then have it for lunch, many top quality restaurants will serve it until late into the afternoon, it's only really greasy spoons that serve them early. And if you go into something called a greasy spoon expecting top quality food, then you're going to be disappointed.

It's an impossible question because British culture is sooo varied. However Johnny Foreigners usually rely on 40 y/o stereotypes and that 1 week in London is enough. The only answer is to come visit and spend time in Scotland, Wales, Yorkshire & Lancashire, Midlands, South
