I might have forgotten a few, especially the operative centric ability. Some may be situational but that mean there is situation you might need them.
That's why I have having issues leveling my op, she is medic and I really wasn't sure if she was suppose to be ranged or melee. Basically, i'd stab them in the back of the thigh and then shoot them in the face.
...just got on after new patch and now I am 100% sure we have too many buttons!
I do agree it is a bit much. I just started playing again and logged on to my assassin and it was a bit overwhelming. I don't think abilities should be outright removed but just bake them in as passives or to other abilities. Blackout for example could either be permanent or something like "for the first 8 seconds of stealth your stealth level is increased". Force Slow's effect could be baked into Thrash or Leeching Strike. Small things like that would really go a long way
