    They are situational abilities though, so if you cut them then you will end up hurting yourself in the long run.

    for example, a marksman hunter use in his rotation (in no particular order, this is not a rotation)

    single target
    Corrosive Dart
    Penetrating Blasts
    Takedown
    Followthrough
    Ambush
    Snipe

    to which you might add
    The armor debuff
    Countermeasures (Aggro reducing ability)
    Crouch

    For AOE you add
    Orbital Strike
    Suppression

    Offensive Cooldown
    Laze Target
    Target Acquired
    Adrenaline Probe
    1 Adrenal
    1-2 Trinket

    Defensive cooldown
    Shield Probe
    Evasion
    Ballistic Shield
    Entrench

    Crowd Control
    Cover Pulse
    Flash Bang
    Debilitate
    Leg Shot
    Covered Escape
    Diversion

    I might have forgotten a few, especially the operative centric ability. Some may be situational but that mean there is situation you might need them.

    That's why I have having issues leveling my op, she is medic and I really wasn't sure if she was suppose to be ranged or melee. Basically, i'd stab them in the back of the thigh and then shoot them in the face.

    I do agree it is a bit much. I just started playing again and logged on to my assassin and it was a bit overwhelming. I don't think abilities should be outright removed but just bake them in as passives or to other abilities. Blackout for example could either be permanent or something like "for the first 8 seconds of stealth your stealth level is increased". Force Slow's effect could be baked into Thrash or Leeching Strike. Small things like that would really go a long way
