He is awesome. Even the alternate version of him in the world Obito sends Naruto.
Itachi just walks up to Obito after he uses his phase shift thingy and tries to do illusion thingies and Obito says something like "omg u r so annoying in this world too Itachi" and then runs away.

Sasuke can't handle the truth. And Itachi being quiet was the only thing that made Danzo spare Sasukes life, and his only chance of living a somewhat normal life in the village instead of being on the run with Itachi.
But Sasuke sucks and turned out awful anyway. Itachi did his best!
