Honestly, I think lack of mastery hurts you a lot. I am 944 ilvl, don't wear tier set at all (neither T20 nor T21) but I have 200% mastery and 33% crit and always average 1.4M+ damage (more on better pulls). With tier that would probably be even better. Try investing in some mastery, you have soooo much haste.

last time i simmed (2 days ago) mastery is still ahead of crit

Youre right, mastery is just ahead for me with my current setup. Last time i simmed it i had a lot more mastery and less crit, it was reversed by a fair amount. I stand slightly corrected. Also the sims may have still had the 2p as a 60% proc last time too. Originally Posted by omeomorfismo

Returned to wow less than a month ago after, and since TBC i always loved assassination, but holy shit this spec is so boring right now, you have like 3 skills in the rotation (besides longer cooldowns).

Assination is more complicated than it has ever been relative to how it was in previous expansions. The spec isn't complicated to play. Just more complicated than it used to be. Originally Posted by Iettlopp

Lol. Mut is kiddie play compared to wotlk, which required actively monitoring two debuffs and SnD then pooling and doing an envenom spam window while watching deadly poison stacks. There is more min/max nowadays in any spec, not that its more complicated (unless you played feral in mop/wod)

When it comes to spamming Envenom coming out of stealth ( with Mantle ) is it worth throwing in a FoK to get 5cp Envenoms? Or just pump out 4cp's?
