Why can't Death Knights use shields again?

They don't need them...why should they be just like other tanks? They're the only Plate Tank without them...why take away some of their originality away?

Since Death Knights are Tanks, why can't they use shields? Druid bears and Vengeance Demon Hunters don't need shields because they're going to be meat walls so they're the special cases.

As for DKs using shields, it doesn't fit in with the Fantasy. Did Arthas ever use a shield as the Lich King?

Think of DKs as Samurai's, they are so good with the blade that they deflect attacks with their Sword. Not some brute that needs a shield to block attacks.

Think of DKs as Samurai's, they are so good with the blade that they deflect attacks with their Sword. Not some brute that needs a shield to block attacks.

A better wording on DH tanking is that they didn't have a presentable version of the tank spec to show, as likely they have a ton done but it's still very much in flux so they don't wana show something and then take it away. However they did say DH tanking was about pain and such so that's essentially meat shield.
