6.2.3 Epic vs blues

Hello all, I must be missing something here but I see that the new blue pvp gear(ilv685) cost exactly the same as the old pvp gear(ilv700) and both scale to ilv 730. My question is, why would someone buy the blue ones?

This subject has been broached maybe half a dozen times already in other threads, but the general consensus seems to be that the blue gear has to be in game for it to show up in the blue Assram boxes and glad sanctum - neither of which can drop epic quality gear. So there may as well be a vendor for it as well. Even though the last season Cp gear is better for pve, they do both scale to 730 in pvp.

Basically, typical Blizzard laziness where pvp is concerned.
