The Permissible Exposure Limit (Or PEL) of Carbon Monoxide as defined by OSHA is 15 parts per million (Or ppm), assuming you are in a space containing 15 ppm for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 40 hours in total per week.

Measuring the CO intake of a cigarette from the end you inhale on, through the filter, will max my sensors out at 999 ppm of Carbon Monoxide and require a re-calibration of my sensors and a power cycle of the meter
